Allison Shannon is a Physician Assistant who comes to Desert Spine and Sports Physicians from The Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. Her Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in biology, was earned at Arizona State University. She attended Midwestern University to earn her Master of Medical Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, specializing in orthopaedic surgery. She began her career in the Mayo Clinic Health System in Minnesota, working in general orthopaedics. She transferred to The Mayo Clinic in Arizona to be closer to friends and family, where she continued her career in adult reconstruction and orthopaedic oncology. Allison is delighted to be at Desert Spine and Sports Physicians where she can continue her total commitment to patient care and welfare. Having lived in Arizona most of her life, Allison loves camping, hiking and spending time with her four dogs.
She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants.
